What makes this collection truly one of a kind isn’t just the intent.
It’s the way it was made.
We worked with:
• wool
• silk
• some pure silk pieces
• select Mongolian cashmere
Much of the yarn already existed in our system 30,000–40,000 kg of dyed yarn accumulated over time.
Instead of standardising it, we experimented.
Some yarns were:
• used as-is
• re-dyed
• over-dyed
• washed experimentally
Design took a backseat to colour.
We allowed colour to lead – abstract, layered, intuitive.
There was no fixed aesthetic.
No repeatable formula.
Even if we tried, these rugs can’t be recreated.
That’s why we simply call the collection:
One of A Kind
We showed them quietly to our clients.
They responded immediately.
We’re already shipping.
Sometimes, the most honest work comes from doing what’s necessary, not what’s easy.
